PF3000 Update: Construction has Begun

Hello friends 🙂

Back in May we announced our latest project, the PF3000 – using 4 inch by 4 inch touch controlled “pixels” your hands become digital paint brushes, allowing you to draw pixel graphics in larger than life fashion. Since our announcement we have been very busy and today we have an exciting announcement to share with you.

After building our PF3000 prototype and showing it to folks all over the bay area we have raised enough money to start construction on the full size PF3000. Just to give you an idea of the scale different – our prototype was 4×4 pixels – or 16 of our 4-inch touch-controlled pixels. Now what we are building is a 16×16 PF3000 – that’s 256 pixels in total on a pixel wall standing almost 6 feet high.

We have about 8 and a half weeks left to hit our goal. And hey, we’re still waiting to see if it will even be in the Autumn Lights show – but we think we’ve got a good chance. We still need your help too – please consider contributing to the PF3000 project and make a tax deductible donation today.
