Wormhole v3 – Sound (and People) powered lights

Wormhole is our sound reactive LED tunnel from way back in 2018 (v1). We debuted v2 at Autumn Lights 2021 and even won an award that year. Wormhole has been to every autumn lights since, and a myriad of other places. You could even say Wormhole is somewhat core to the Filma artistic identity; we’ve been carting this thing around almost a decade now, that’s really something. And it is with great pleasure we announce today that Wormhole’s third incarnation dubbed “v3” will be debuting at the 2026 Autumn Lights festival.

Wormhole v3 will include people as an additional input source. Combining with the traditional sound interaction, the people within the wormhole will also influence the light patterns. The wormhole will literally look inside itself and respond accordingly based on what people are doing. Look forward to new ways to play and discover within the wormhole; everyone will find a new exciting experience in Filma Collective’s Wormhole v3.

Another Realm v2

Last year Filma Collective brought Another Realm to Autumn Lights as one of its guerilla art projects, that is the projects we just sorta show up at the festival with but aren’t formally included in the show. Using a combination of projection mapping and infinity mirror techniques, Another Realms delighted patrons who gazed endlessly at the psychedelic landscapes of Another Realm. Folks were delighted enough, in fact, that we decided to update Another Realm this year and formally enter it into the 2026 Oakland Autumn Lights Festival. Version 2 of the piece contains a number of visual updates that are sure to make stepping through its portal even more irresistible.

Another Realm is the brain child of Filma Collective artist Tony Redwolf. Look forward to seeing this fantastic piece this October.

PF3000 v2

PF3000, Filma Collective’s large format touch-based pixel design platform, is back again at Autumn Lights this year, though this will be its first time at the Festival in its full v2 form. Earlier in 2026, Filma Collective’s PF3000 v2 debuted at the Napa Lighted Arts Festival. For the 2026 Napa Lighted Arts show, many improvements were made to the PF3000 to make it ready for long exposure to the public, and the elements. We’re now excited to share those improvements with the Oakland Autumn Lights Community.
