Project Announcement: Wormhole v3

Friends, it is with great pleasure I get to announce one of two projects debuting at the 2026 Autumn Lights Fair in Oakland, CA. Our award winning Wormhole has been in the shop for its third iteration.

Wormhole, which is now 8 years old, has always been an interactive piece. Listening to sounds from the environment, and people, the wormhole would convert what it hears into rainbow light. Now with wormhole v3 we’re adding given the Wormhole the ability to see. By combining sight and sound, the wormhole will now have a whole host of new interactive possibilities; interactions still resulting in epic rainbow light of course.

We don’t want to spoil the surprises we have in store for you so we shall share no more. As we get closer to the event, look forward to additional articles describing the bleeding edge tech we’re using to make these new interactions possible as we always love to share what we’ve learned with all of you. Look forward to Wormhole version 3 in just four short weeks.
